The 6-room Albur Village apartment overlooks the city and provides guests with Wi-Fi and a free private car park on site. Ponta do Altar Lighthouse is approximately 15 minutes by car from the apartment, while Beach Alvor Nascente is nestled at the distance of nearly a 5-minute ride away.
The accommodation is at a distance of 4.9 km from the Regional Portimao Heritage Museum, which is an excellent place to improve cultural awareness. To get to the real heart of Alvor you need to walk for 10 minutes. Youth Park is 10 minutes away by car, and Mercado Municipal de Alvor is just 7 minutes on foot from Albur Village apartment.
Aside from comfort amenities like air conditioning, the interior also features a flat-screen TV with satellite channels for an enjoyable stay. The apartment is also furnished with a sofa set. A bathroom is equipped with a bidet, a bathtub, and a walk-in shower, as well as a hairdryer and bath sheets.
Along with coffee/tea making machines, self-catering facilities in a kitchen include a microwave oven, a fridge, and a toaster. Portimao airport is located 5 km away, while Alvor Centro bus station is a few moments from the accommodation. The apartment itself was well-kept and provided a comfortable home base for our explorations. With three balconies, we relished some lovely afternoons soaking up the sun, perfect for relaxing with the kids. The location is a significant plus. Just a mere ten-minute walk to the bustling center, we found plenty of local restaurants and shops. The added convenience of a supermarket right below was fantastic for picking up fresh rolls and cooked meals on busy days. We made great use of the pool area, which offered a refreshing escape for our family. I did notice that the sofa bed could be more comfortable for those lounging hours. Albur Village is a welcoming place for families. This was our fourth visit, and we look forward to returning for another round of fun-filled memories. If you’re traveling with little ones in tow, this spot has much to offer!
